Idelett de la Bat is a conceptual artist from the Karoo currently living and working in Paarl in the Western Cape (South Africa). She holds a social work degree from the University of Stellenbosch as well as a visual arts degree from the University of South Africa.

Her art-making process attempts to explore inner landscapes and a universal need for spaciousness…the Karoo within. She invites: Let us take the time to push the boundaries of fear in order to create space within ourselves. Together we are stronger in our vulnerability.
